Linked Information

Peter

When I open a MS Project file, I get the following message:

###.mpp contains linked information.
Do you want to re-estasblish the links?
...., click Yes
...., click No

What does this mean? What is the difference between clicking Yes or No if I
edit the file and save it?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi,

Somebody will have entered a dynamic link (for instance, through Paste
Special) between cells.
If you click yes, thsi link is refreshed, if no, not.

I know in Project 98 I can double click on the cell and it takes me to the
other "side" of the link.

Hi Jan,

I apply the Linked Fields and find a field which has a sign in the lower
right corner. Now, how can I find out what it is linked to?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi,

I don't know.
I'm a poor lonesome Project specialist not an OLE one.
