Have been using Access 97 on XP Home with success for
some time now. A nuisance has baffled me though. When
using the linked table manager to change the attached
tables to a different host database, I get the same error
every time. "you do not have access to the directory
c:\*.mdb" which is any default directory in the
Options/general/file locations entry.
I have checked the administrative privileges in startup
mode and they are Full. I have also assigned
administrative privileges to all of the child objects
under the root of C: Obviously this is NTFS.
Anyone have a clue?
