Linking two schedules in Project

Is there a way to link, or connect, two schedules in Project, so that any change I make to one schedule is also made to the other schedule?

1.1.3.1 To Create a Dependency Between Tasks in Different
Projects
1. Open both projects - the file containing the task you want to link to
and the file containing the task you want to link from. (If necessary, you
can search for your file.)

2. In the Window menu, click Arrange All.

3. Use the mouse to drag a link between two tasks.

This don't work. It would be useful but i can only do that in a master
project containing my two projects. But it's not easy because I can't spilt
the screen to visualize only the two parts i want to link. (I have 2000
tasks...)

Any idea ?

mjm,
Yes, you are correct, in a split screen only one project is active at a
time. However, in your master file, making the link can be made easier
(especially for large files) by isolating the two tasks so they are
together. One method to do that is to filter on the two task names or
temporarily set a spare flag for both tasks and filter on that. Then
create the link.

Hope this helps.
