When I open an excel document that refers to another excel database sheet,
it asks to reestablish links. I choose ok and navigate to the file but the
file is greyed out. All other excel files are chooseable but they are not
the link file. The file is not open and I have tried doing this with the
file open as well. I am using Office X. Itried the new Office 2004 and no
luck. The files work in Windows 2000/xp but not on the mac. I also have
chose not to establish links and all the data goes away. Is this a quirk in
the Mac edition? These files were originally created on a Mac pre OS X and
they worked then as we were a Mac office, now we are Windows and I am the
only Mac and can not use the files anymore.
