Links in Outlook XP open dialup box when connected to the LAN

I have a laptop user that is having a problem with opening links i
Outlook. When he's connected through the LAN and he clicks on a link
his dialup pops up. Other users with the same software don't have thi
problem.

Win XP Pro sp1
Outlook 2002 sp2
Toshiba laptop
POP3 mail server

I'm lost with this one
