I have a word document and in the table of contents there are links to the
corresponding pages. I would like to remove the link and am not able to do
that by right clicking, the remove hyperlink does not appear. Anybody know
how to do this. Thanks.

You can turn off the hyperlinking of the wording of the entries, but
not the hyperlinking of the page numbers.

Click anywhere in the table of contents and then press Alt+F9. You
should see something like this:

{ TOC \o "1-3" \h \z \u }

Delete the two characters \h and then press Alt+F9 again. Press F9 and
tell it to update the entire table. After that, only the page numbers
will act as hyperlinks.
