List All Available Styles

Hi All

I have searched this newsgroup and cannot find what I'm after.

Does anyone know where or how I can access all the styles and formatting
used in a document? Ideally I would like to create a new document with
samples and specs of the styles and formatting used in the source document.

I'm happy working in VBA and I'm probably at an intermediate level, but not
too familiar with the Word object model.

Any pointers about this would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

You can do this via the user interface. Choose File>Print. In the
Print dialog box, under "Print what", select "Styles", and then click
OK.

Hi Stefan

Thanks for your response.

I am already aware that you can do what you've suggested, but this does not
print
only used styles and neither does it give an example of the style, unless I'm
missing something that is. If you re-read my original question, you'll see
exactly what I want to do.

Thanks.
