list and datavalidation

I have a macro that generate a lot of lists
I have list that contains the names of all lists

Say the list contains the following\
List_1
List_2
List_3
List_4 etc

If i select list_27 in cell a2, i want cell a3 to be validated with list 27.

you may use the INDIRECT function for this. Try entering the following
formula in the data validation dialog for cell A3
=INDIRECT(A2)

under Data > Validation > Allow > List.
