Loading MS Office-small business software

My friend has Windows 98 on her previously owned Acer
Computer. It's a Pentium and a couple years old. She's
wanting me to help her load the MS small business
software. I promised her I would but the instructions are
not that clear to me. Someone has always loaded my own
but I want to help her. Now, I'm questioning myself.
Would someone be able to send me detailed step-by-step
instructions on loading this software.

(Yes, you are correct. My "elevator doesn't go all the
wait up to the top floor." "I'm one sandwich short of a
picnic.") But if you could help me do this - she won't
know I'm not this way. She will think I great.

What version of Office SBE? If XP, it cannot be installed except on the
computer with which it came. If a retail 2000 version, it can be installed
on a desktop and laptop.

Is the software installed anywhere right now? On your machine or hers? if
yours, then she will need to get a separate copy.

Once you have figured all of this out. insert the CD, follow the
instructions for setup and make sure you have the orange label with the
installation code. If you are missing this part, then don't even try the
installation.
