loading powerpoint from vba

Hi,
I am new to VBA and I need to load a powerpoint file using VB. I know
the code to load the powerpoint file using VB, but once it's loaded how can i
access the VBA properties I have int the powerpoint.ppa ? Specifically I
want to send a connection string to Powerpoint and wne the user access my
save button in the presentation I want to save to the database.
HELP
