I recently backed up my entire hard drive onto my
husband's computer, reformatted my hard drive, reinstalled
my programs and began importing my e-mail into Microsoft
Outlook 2002 again. I want to merge my previously received
e-mail message listing and folders with my newly received
e-mail messages and have them all accessible in Microsoft
Outlook. Where on my hard drive in my folder listings will
I find my e-mail from before and my new e-mail so that I
may merge my files? Can I merge them through Notepad or is
there a better way? Please advise. THANKS!

The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

You can also search for *.pst on the hard drive make sure you also search in
system/hidden files/folders.

Merging through notepad is not possible. Just use File-> Import/Export.

Hope this helps!
