Lock part of style in word 2007

I have a document with locked styles.
However, the user should to be able to add coloumns to a table and still
have the table width to be 15 cm after the insertion.
When the styles are locked, you can't edit the table width back to 15 cm.

How can this be solved?

You can set a percentage width for the table instead of a fixed width. That
way, it will adjust the column widths automatically.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?VmliZWtl?=,

Could you provide more information, please.

Version of Word?

What kind of "style" is controlling the table width?

How are you "locking" the styles?
