Right click the graphic, then choose Format Picture.

Choose the Layout tab.

Choose any wrapping style EXCEPT In line with text.

Click Advanced.

Choose the Picture Position tab.

Deselect Move object with text.

Okay your way back out.

Hi Dig,
Is there a way to lock a graphic from moving in Word XP?
So that it will never move from the x/y position, yes, as
the other poster describes.

So that it will never move from Page X? No. It will always
appear on the same page as the paragraph to which it is
anchored.

So that the user can never move it accidentally? Only if
you've protected the document as a form.
