Locking images online

Marc

Does anyone know if you can "lock" an image so that it
cannot be saved or copied from the internet?

Any help would be appreciated!

Then once again review the sites I sent you to, so you'll understand why the
no right click won't work for you.

| Thanks! I checked them out, but I don't think they
| helped. What I want to do is protect intellectual
| property, in this case artwork, from being "saved as" from
| my website. I have seen sites that block people from
| right-clicking, or when you right click, a message is
| displayed that the image is copyrighted.
|
| Is there a program, or feature in Frontpage that allows me
| to do this?

You have seen sites that fooled YOU only, and a few others who don't know
how the Internet works. A browser downloads files. When you see them in your
browser, they are already on your hard drive.

Down Home

Marc,

It's sort of like putting your phone number on your web page but not wanting
anyone to call. Not gonna happen. Even if you restrict right clicks or or
put in copyright pop-up, all someone needs to do is visit their cache
(temporary internet files) and copy it from there.

Good Luck!
