Locking TextBoxes

Working in an elementary school... we sometimes create templates for
the children to use. These usually contain text boxes laid out in a
certain manner according to the lesson. How can we lock these so the
students cannot resize or move the boxes from their original location?

You can group the text boxes, they cannot be re-sized but they can be moved.

If the children are not going to add their own text you could put the boxes on
the Master Page.

You'd have better luck using Word. Especially if you want the children to
fill-in blanks.
