locking timescale

we use weeks as a key tracking timescale for our projects. How can I lock
the timescale so when I zoom in/out project will always display at least the
week?

I am going to assume you are referring to the Gantt chart. If you place your
cursor over the timeline across the top and right click you should see 2
options;
1. Timescale - select this and you should find parameters you can play
around with such as "Unit" and "Count" for each of the tiers.
2. Zoom - select this and you should be able to choose the zoom view you
want (ie. 1 week is one of the options)

Hi,

Simple. Never, never, ever use Zoom.
Always use Format, Timescale, and adjust the scale factor.
