Longest Path (excluding SNETs)

My boss wants a report detailing the longest path of activities; however, the
4th to last task needs a SNET constraint, and when I filter on critical
tasks, I only get the last 4 tasks.

Any thoughts on how to create a driving path report (to the last task) that
doesn't stop when it arrives at the first SNETs (or any start constraint for
that matter)

If the SNET constraint is valid, then there really are only 4 critical tasks
because the others have slack.

There are a number of ways to work around this.

You can change the value for which tasks Project considers critical to a
larger value.
You can put an artificial constraint on the last of the tasks prior to the
SNET constraint or put a lag on the dependency between them. You could insert
a buffer task equivalent to the total slack for the predecessors to the task
with the SNET constraint.

You could use the trace macro I have at my site
http://masamiki.com/project/macros.htm

but the reality is that the way your schedule is modeled there really are
only 4 tasks on the critical path.
