Looking for a macro or template to number paragraphs in margin

I once saw a wonderful template that had a thin strip down the left hand
margin that could be used to count lines of text or number paragraphs. I
haven't been able to find it since. Does anyone know where I can find this
macro or tempalte?

You can add line numbering using File | Page Setup | Layout: Line Numbering,
but the template you saw was probably the Pleading template.
