Looking for a .MDI file viewer. Is part of Office 2003 but I hav.

I can read the file on another computer at home with Office 2003 but not on
mine with Office 2000. Isn't there a viewer, I can't find one on Microsoft
web site. Thank you very much.

Microsoft Document Imaging was introduced with Office XP, and a newer
version comes with Office 2003. Neither version works with Office 2000.

Hi R.,

To add to garfield-n-odie's reply. The .MDI format is
new to Office 2003 and at present there is no viewer
for the .MDI file format outside of Office 2003. Use
the .TIFF file type when you have an audience that
may not have Office 2003.
