Loose cursor

Randomly I loose my cursor in word while editing a
document or even when away from my computer. Alt F X will
close the program, but I have to restart my machine before
I again see the cursor. I can also see file etc.
highlighted with not visible cursor and can click on it.
In the body of the document I can see no cursor or
highlighting at all. Normally Outlook is the only other
running program.

I'm sorry I can't help you but you don't "loose" your cursor, you "lose"
your cursor.
