Loosing opened but undeleted new mail when change folders

New mail, once opened, disappears from Inbox if I change
to Sent or Deleted folders. It does not show up anywhere,
not even in the Deleted File. Unopened mail is not
affected. Any suggestions?

Check your view settings in your Inbox folder. You may be filtering to hide
read messages.
