Lose communication history when moving account to business contact

I have vista ultimate, with outlook 2007 & BCM.
I started using the Accounts section for my client base, then decided to
change them to business contacts.
I can move them ok from accounts to business contacts, but all of the
communication history does not transfer with them. any ideas.
The reason i am moving them is so i can syncronize them with a handheld device

Don't try to move them, Tricky7. Get CompanionLink or Pocket Mirror and you
can map them into your handheld as real Pocket Outlook contacts.

HTH,
Lon

Hi Lon, thanks for the response, (sorry for the delay, time difference in
Australia).
I am currently using a HP mobile handheld with windows 2003 and have found
that business contacts loads ok on it. (using BCM mobile).
I am an x ACT user, and have found BCM a little limiting considering that
you could almost have unlimited user define fields in ACT as well as setting
the page layout however you desired, but they took a good program an stuffed
it.
I am a mortgage broker and like to have all my information with me, ie:
latest contact notes, phone logs, and who the lender, real estate agent and
other associated parties are so if anyone of them calls I can look up the
client and have everybodies contact details on hand. I have used up all of my
40 custom fields in BCM and since you can't link more than 1 contact, im
having to copy details into the notes section of the associated parties
since you are the king of ACT to BCM, do you think CompanionLink or Pocket
Mirror will do the job?
many thanks
Tricky7

Tricky:

Neither Companionlink nor Pocket Mirror will get all your custom fields. We
wrote TransAct for the Pocket PC back in 2002 and our intention was to get
ALL your data down to a PPC. We've looked at doing a similar program for
BCM but it's not time yet -- not enough users or demand. Try to live with
some of the basic contact data on your PPC or move to a UMPC or TabletPC so
you can run full blown Outlook and BCM.

And, take a look at our pinpoint Mortgage -- it may not be suited for the Oz
market but I'd be interested in your feedback. You might also get some
ideas from how we structured the data...

Take care,
Lon
