Loss of programme

I recently downloaded a trial version of Publisher 07, simply to read a
document I'd been sent. Unfortunately, the old version I had has disappeared
without a trace, even after uninstalling the trial one and rebooting the
system. The original was 2000 or possibly 2002 - anyone know how I can get
it back?? No disc as the software was already on the PC when I bought it.

Hopefully you did not uninstall it.

Do a search on your machine for mspub.exe if you find it double click on it
and see if it will run...if it does; just create a new shortcut to it...if
you can't find it...you're sol.

The Publisher program will be in Program Files, Microsoft Office. MSPub.exe

How about trying a restore?

If you told the trial version to upgrade your older version, you're out of
luck.
