lost all outlook details

i have set up a windows 2000 network at home with active directory. i have created roaming profiles and have folder redirection. when i joined my main pc (the one with office 2003 and all my contacts saved emails etc) to the domain, all my conatcts, settings etc disappeared. i searched for the .pst files but couldn't find them under any profile, even the one copied to my file sevrer under folder redirection. i then took the machine off the domain hoping that my profile would return but it then said it couldn't find the outlook .pst and archive.pst files and i should create new ones.
However when i type in an address on new mail message it brings up the name that was in my address book (possibly the names are cached?) but if i try to press To.... it says "the Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be found"

Any ideas where my saved emails and address book may be and how i might get them back.
