I just updated my Windows 98 operating system. Lost
(DATA1.MSI)file. Do not have access to Office 2000 CD. I
do have the Product I.D.#. How do I retrieve this for a
download.

You don't. Office files cannot be downloaded. You would need to perform a
repair installation, ergo you need the CD.
