lost my oultook.pst file

My norton realtime protection came up when I went to open
my outlook program. It said that I was infected with
IRC.Family.Gen, it took action by deleting my outlook.pst
file. Am I screwed? Did I lose all of my emails,
contacts, etc? If not, how can I recover them?

Look in the quarantine folder of Norton and see if you can recover it from
there. Otherwise you are pretty much done unless you made backups of the
file.
