Macro in Word 2003

I have created a macro and dragged it into a taskbar. Is there a way to
change how it appears in the bar, such as giving it a one word name?
Currently it reads "new.macros.macroname" where macroname is the name of the
macro. How about using some icon? Is there somewhere to look for useful
icons? Such as Paste or Paste special?

While the Customize dialog is open, right-click the toolbar button you want to
change. You can edit the text in the Name box, and you can click the Change
Button Image item to get a gallery of icons to choose from. You can also click
Edit Button Image to get an icon editor dialog where you can modify an existing
icon or draw your own. Also see

Open Tools | Customize. Right-click on the button. The name is editable; I'm
not sure whether editing the name affects the ability of the button to run
the macro. You can, however, assign a toolbar icon. When you right-click,
the menu also gives you the option to Change Button Image, which offers a
selection of images you may be able to use. Or you can find some other
toolbar icon and copy/paste it (using Copy Button Image and Paste Button
Image on that same menu), or you can create your own image in the Button
Image Editor (Edit Button Image). For a selection of button images, see
