Macro warning after saving, closing and reopening document.

Dear all,

I have a document template with some simple macros held within it that
are signed with a certificate and the owner of the certificate is
marked as a trusted source.
When I create a document using the template Word seems to correctly
identify that it should run the macros without reference to the user.
I then save the document and close word. On reopening Word the message
stating that macros have been disabled against this project is
presented to the user as it seems that the certificate has got lost
somewhere along the line.

This is occurring on Word 2000 (SP-2) but does not seem to be an issue
on Word 2003. Unfortunately the customer is the one using Word 2000.

I've looked on microsofts site and have not been able to find any
reference to this. Has anyone had experience of this and know of a
fix/workaround (without upgrading to Word 2003!)

Many thanks
Colin
