On the Internet.

Seriously though: what do you want to do?

More appropriate newsgroups for Microsoft Word macros are
microsoft.public.word.programming or microsoft.public.word.vba.

I'm alternating from WordPerfect to WORD and would like to make it
less painful. I want to put the usual formatting icons on a toolbar,
line spacing, numbering, 2 page view, different zooms, go-to-chapter
#, document compare, master document (but I understand MS master
document is not as reliable as WP's), that sort of thing. I know how
to get most of these out of WORD now, but it means a lot of mouse
clicking. I would like a one-click icon for those commands.

Thanks.

I understand your pain. OTOH IMO overpopulating the toolbars is not the
answer - accessing menu items from the keyboard or keyboard shortcuts
are. Microsoft Word's Help system has the answers, not only for keyboard
shortcuts, but also for customizing the toolbars. I don't quite see how
your original (and rather general) request for macros would help you
with your list of missing buttons.

I also think that some of the functions you mention are already in plain
sight in the normal interface - you need to spend some time exploring
it.
