Hi,
Is there anyway to "split" the window in Project - a bit like Word where you
can view different sections of the same plan at the same time ?

Cheers

Hello Dave,

Yes. sort of. You can display two windows of the same file. Choose
Window > New Window. Then choose Window > Arrange all.

Project does have a split command (similiar to Word) but it is primarily
used to display a different view in the split portion -- for example:
the Gantt chart view when split displays the Task Form view in the
bottom pane.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Dave,

you can split a window in Project, via the menu : Window/ Split
But it'll not show different sections of the same plan at the same time. The
lower view is always a "detail" of the upper view.

From the Window menu select New Window and open the same project. You
are then free to select whatever view you want in each of the windows.

Dave,
Although others have answered your question I'm curious what it has to
do with "macros"? Is there something we are missing between the subject
and the actual question?
