To efficiently troubleshoot this problem, could you let me know the
following information?
1. What happens if you double-click the MLCFG32.CPL file in the Program
Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033\ folder?
2. Please check whether the following registry keys are available:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\MMCPL
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Microsoft
Outlook\shell\Properties\command
3. Please rename the Mlcfg32.cpl file and run Office Setup using the Repair
option. After you rename the file Mlcfg32.cpl, follow these steps to run
the Office Repair:
3.1) Click Start, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
3.2) In the Windows Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3.3) In the list of installed programs, click to select Microsoft Office
2000 and then click Add/Remove.
3.4) In Microsoft Office 2000 Setup click Repair Office.
3.5) In the Reinstall/Repair dialog, click Repair Errors in My Office
Installation, and then click Finish.
