Mail merge field formats

I have a mail merge document that brings in several fields. I am at
present trying to change the format of a time field. The information
currently comes out as 09:30:00. Any suggestions?

What version of Word? What's your data source? Are you familiar with
the \@ date formatting switch? If not, look this up in Word's help (at
least to get started).
