Mail Merge missing from Tools in Office 2000 Professional

I cannot locate "mail merge" under Tools on my menu bar. I cannot seem to locate it anywhere. Can you help? I desperately need this in order to perform my task. I have reinstalled and repaired the installation of Word 2000 Professional and still I cannot locate "mail merge." What do I do?

Try Opening Word Tools|Customize|Commands, select category "All COmmands"
and drag either Mailmerge... or MailMergeHelper to yout Tools Menu or anothe
menu or toolbar.
