mail merge problem - double spaces in addresses

i am using mail merge for some letters. Everything seems to look good until I
preview my letter. All the addresses are double spaced for some reason and I
can't figure it out.

help before i throw the computer out the window

You probably have the paragraphs formatted with Space After (or Before them)
and are also probably using the AddressBlock.

Instead of using the AddressBlock, just insert the individual merge fields
in the configuration that you want - either adjusting the Paragraph
Formatting so that there is no space before/after where you do not want it,
or using Shift+Enter to create each new line in the address.
