Mail Merge Problem

I have created a publication and want to do a mail merge.
I draw the text box and the proceed to Open the Data
Source, but when I go to the Mail Merge menu 'Open Data
Source' is not available for me to click on. Any
suggestions?

Also, I can start a new .pub from scratch, make a text
box, and then Open Data Source can be clicked on.
Please help.

John what version of Windows and Publisher are you using???

Go to www.microsoft.com/data and download and install the latest MDAC
Components

Make sure you have the updates for Publisher 2000 installed
