Mail Merge problem

We are using an old application called perfect View. This is a database
programm in which we keep our customer data. This programm merges data to
documents in Word. With Word 2000 and 2003 everything is working fine but
since we have installed 2007 it just doesn't work anymore. With excel 2007 it
works.

We get different fault messages. Does anyone know what the difference in
this respect is between 2003 and 2007?

An example of the err msgs being?
And if you create a word doc in the old format ( Save As) what then?

The messages we get are in the dutch language. The documents we use are made
in word 2003 and are merged with the data in Word 2007. Should we first save
the document in 2007 maybe?

Possibly or save your 2007 doc in the old format (ensure you have copies of
the origonal docs)
I'd have thought any err msg might have been specific enough to identify the
doc causing the err
