I have a Excel database and a Publisher form, when I add one field to the database and try to add it to publisher in a mail merge all my old fields do not work, I have to reinsert new fields. Whats wrong?????

So if I have a group of five fieltypes If I add another I must resert past five back into form to get it to work??? If so is MS word the same? or is there a better program to use for a forms database?

I have no idea about MS Word.

It only takes a couple of seconds in Publisher to put the other fields back
in.

Probably the best program for your needs for a straight simple functional
database would be MS Works, and preferably the old version 4.5a.
