Mail Merge

How do I save forms individually after they have been populated with data
using mail merge. The issue is that I have about 200 forms with data on
individual clients and want to save them individually. I find I can easily
print them, but I also want to save an electronic copy of the completed form
with the data entered from the mail merge.

Anyone out there who ever encountered this problem?

I do a lot of printing of merges into Publisher. But to do what you want, I
have to merge into Word. ( I haven't tried it with Publisher 2003)

OK and thanks. For me the issue is saving the forms as individual documents
"after" the merge has taken place. I need to be able to access any
individual form and add non generic data to it.

Hi, School Daze -

Yup. If you merge into Word you will get a document that you can save
separately from the "form" . You could have a document with all 200 of your
entries.

If you want to save EACH entry as a separate file, you could cut and paste
from the big document into 200 individual files OR you could filter when you
merge to pull up one entry at a time and save each with its own name.
