mail merge

Big Rob

I am attempting a mail merge with Word and Excel. I have
two problems. The first one is that I am unable to pull
up merge recipients that excludes 2 states. It seems
that I am only able to exclude one state from my list.
Any suggestions. The second problem is that the zip
codes are ommiting the first zero. So for people with a
zip code of 07039, when the merge takes place, the zip
reads 7039. I went to the excel worksheet and formatted
the cell for zips, and it corrected the problem on the
Excel worksheet but it still will not bring the correct
zip to the letter.

thanks for any help.

Hi Big,

I think I can help you with both these problems, but I first
need to know which version of Word you have, so that I can
tell you the correct commands (don't want to mix you up!)
