Mailbox cleanup ...

S

Sharon R.

Hi all,

I am a backup support for Outlook users. One such user has reached her
maximum mailbox capacity in her Personal Folders. When attempting a mailbox
cleanup she came to the "Delete all alternate versions of items in your
mailbox". She was reluctant to click Delete without knowing the implications.
I haven't encountered this before. Can anyone give a quick explanation.

Thanks!

"Delete all alternate versions of items in your mailbox"
Care to elaborate on that?

Restoring from backup would be the fastest way to restore if she also
cleared all items from the Deleted Items folder.
