Hello, I'm pretty new at InfoPath, but reading the help files and learning a
lot. Anyways, I have a questions about inputing data into a list.
So, this is a an example of how I *kind of* want it to look.
I've got a lot of data in long lists or 20 to 30+ lines each that I'm
needing to input into this form I'm making. I was wondering if it would be
possible to copy-paste each list all at once into something (instead of each
line copy-pasted individually), and then a combo-box being attached to each
line, so I could assign each line to a category. (ie. the first three
lines/ingredients would go into the poultry category, russet potato would go
in potato category, and the fishes would go in the fish category).
I have tried copy-pasting into [I think] every list control box there is -
all of them except the rich text box put the whole list on the same line, and
where it was separate lines before, it would mush them together (ex:chicken
mealturkey mealrusset potato).
If doing that is impossible, then I'll probably use a repeating table, but
I'd rather not have to copy-paste 20-30+ items, individually, multiple times.
