making slides to slide automatically

aa

I trying to build a presentation made entirely of several video clips of
wmv format.

I insertied movie clips into slides starting with the first one.
Then in SlideShow -->Set Up Show I selected:
Show type - Presented by a speaker (full screen)
Slides - All
Using Timing (if present)

However it does not advance automatically. Perhaps because I have no timing?
I made a search for timing in Powerpont help. It returned 140 tntries, none
seems to be relevant.

What do I do to make slides to slide automatically?

Go to slide sorter view, select the slides, and then on the bottom right
corner check "Advance after X seconds:.

Which version of PPT are you using?

You may need to turn on the taskpane. (Ctrl+F1) And then choose Slide
Transition in the task pane.

Varsion 2000
I tried Slide Transition in Slide Show - it seems to deal with other effect
which do not affect automatic advance

No, you're in the right place. Slide Show/Slide Transition. At the bottom
left of that dialog is the word Advance, and under that is a box labeled
"automatically after." Click the arrows beside that box to see the time
formatting. 00:04 would be "advance automatically after 4 seconds."
