Managing resources on committed projects vs. tentative projects

Ron Paul

I have two kinds of projects, those that are "committed" (I.e. the contract has been signed) and those that are in the sales pipeline (meaning the contract has not yet been signed). Resources are tentatively committed to sales pipeline tasks

When I look at resource utilization view, I would like to be able to see that a resource is 80% allocated to committed tasks and 10% allocated to sales pipeline tasks (meaning the contract has not been signed) and 10% free (as an example)

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Ron:

You can build a report like this in the Portfolio Analyzer if you have the
correct attributes in your portfolio. To support this, you must create an
Enterprise Project Outline Code with two values: Committed and Pipeline
