RE: Mass Mailings in Microsoft Outlook (NOT Outlook Express)

Once per month my group usually has a dinner meeting. I e-mail a notice so
that each member gets a reminder. Since there are about 350 members, it is
very impractical to send a notice to each member. What I do is this:

1. In the TO line: Me (a junk e-mail address that I made up).

2. In the BCC - blind carbon copy - line: ± 50 members (for seven messages).
The reason I do not put all 350 for one message? Outlook can only handle a
maximum of about 50.

3. In the body of the message: when, where, etc.

The reason I do the mailing this way is that recipients of BCCs do not see
the other members who receive the notice. They would see the other
recipients if the recipients were in the TO or CC lines.

Some, not all addresses are incorrect. Obviously those messages cannot be
delivered and are returned to me: "Mail System Error - Returned Mail". Most
of the return notices have one or more e-mail addresses indicated in them.
However, some do not and just indicate my junk e-mail address.

Is there a way to make all returned messages show members' e-mail addresses?

Thank you,

Barry Karas
