Mass Upload of Docs to PS2007. Auto-check-in of all docs

Hi All,

We need to migrate thousands of documents into Project Server 2007 doc
libraries and workspaces. We plan on using the "Upload Multiple Documents"
facility or the "View in Explorer". The BIG problem is that once all docs
are uploaded, they are all in the checked-out state. Is there a way to mass
check-in all these newly uploaded documents? Is there a setting somewhere
that allows for all documnets that are uploaded to be automatically
checked-in??? How do I avoid having to manually check-in all these
documents one-by-one???? I'm sure there is a way to do this as this would
be a pretty common migration scenario, but how???????

Please help.

Thanks Paul. After the initial upload I changed the 'require chek out'
setting to yes and it is all good.

Also used the view in explorer method and it worked very nicely... all
through explorer.

thanks

Note, if you leave the version control turned on, the net result is the same
with the Explorer view; all the files will be checked out. There is,
however, a hidden gem in SharePoint called "sitemanager." Try adding
"_layouts/sitemanager.aspx" after the base url for your site. You'll be
greatly pleased. A sound spanking to the SharePoint designers for making
this so difficult to discover.
