Master Project Calculation of sub-projects with different hrs per

I have always assumed that a Master Project hrs per day setting would not
overide the hrs per day settings for the calculation of individual tasks in
underlying sub-projects. Having just tested this theory it appears that this
is not the case.

Is there any way I can have a master project with eg a 7hr per day setting
but which will allow legacy sub-projects with 8hr per day settings to be
inserted and calculated as 8hrs not 7hr?

Hi Steve,

They will be calculated as the right number of hours but they will SHOW a
number of days based on the master's options.
In your example: 1,14 days.
Days is NOT A CALCULATING UNIT in Proejct, everythiong goes by the minute;
so duration will not change, just the conversion into "days".
