This sounds dumb but, all the sudden, changes to masters on stencils
are not being reflected on their instances on the drawing page. I
thought it was something I did within a certain file but in a test on a
new file I have the same problems
The test being, on a blank page, with a new empty stencil:
Using the rectangle tool, drag a shape onto the page.
Drag that shape to the stencil, creating a master.
Drag the master onto the page creating an instance.
Edit the master, increasing the size, changing fill color etc.
Close the master.
I should get the prompt "update master and all of its instances"
but I only get "update masterName" and of course the instance does
not inherit the changes.
It looks as if I have severed the inheritances, but I dont see why.
So maybe I have something set, that does not establish the inheritance
to start with.
Some help or a revolver would be greatly appreciated
