I don't know if there is a specified limit on the number of links but
Project does have a limit of 999 on the number of shared files connected
to a resource pool.

Just for reference, if you have 100 or more tasks per a single shared
resource, it sounds like you are going to have a nightmare when it comes
to resource tracking.
