Merge/Combine Word files

I need help! I want to combine 3 word files in one big file and keep
the formatting. I tried with Copy/Paste, Paste Special, Insert File,
Insert Object but I have the following problems:
1. If I use copy and paste the content of second document that I add to
the first one is all made Bold and Centered
2. If I try Paste Special and select there Word Document then it keeps
the formatting but it is inserting only one page
Is there a solution for my problem, a fast one?

The entire document has to work with only one set of styles. If document 1
defines normal as 10pt Arial and document 2 defines it as 14pt Clarendon,
then one or other document will change when you combine them.

Quickest work-around is to output each document separately to PDF, then
combine the PDFs using Acrobat.
