Merge Date Field

Hi

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to force a date merge field to display
the UK day/month/year format in Publisher 2003?
Its not the same as Word where you can display the field codes and force it
to show the required format.

Is the date format set to the UK style in Regional Settings in Control
Panel?

Yup..everything is set up in UK...noticed that it automatically changes the
date format from the data source from either Access or Excel and converts it
to American date format.

I did find a solution and that was to convert the date in Excel to be text
format and then use it to feed into the merge.

Although i do wonder if there is a quick way like Word with its availabe
field code option.
